A Chapter of Maine Audubon
**We have reached our maximum number of participants for this field trip, but if you are interested in being added to the waitlist, please send an email to Mael Glon at midcoastfieldtrips@
Monhegan Island is 10-miles off the coast and is a magnet for migrating warblers and other songbirds. We’ll also see hawks, falcons, marsh birds, and many seabirds from the boat and shore. Be prepared for a variety of weather, and wear sturdy shoes for an all day walk. A stop at the Monhegan Brewery is a great end to a wonderful day of birding.
We will meet at the Hardy Boat Line in New Harbor at 8:15 am for a 9 am boat, and return on the 3:15 boat. Participants must reserve their ferry tickets in advance. Parking is an additional cost.
Trip leaders Mael Glon and Jeff Cherry will meet you in New Harbor.
