Mid-Coast Audubon provides scholarships to learners of all ages through the Chapter’s Jean Hamlin Ornithology Scholarship Fund and Joe Gray Scholarship Fund. Knox, Lincoln and Waldo County residents, and schools in this area are eligible to apply for scholarships.
Scholarships can be applied to many natural history courses including an outstanding week-long ornithology course presented by expert instructors at the Audubon Camp on Hog Island. Preference is given to those with monetary need, and who will extend their learning by sharing that information with others in formal or informal settings.
Those eligible are encouraged to take advantage of scholarships to have a once in a lifetime experience. For individual applicants, please use the following form to submit your application –
